Svetlana has published articles and stories in a variety of places, including the Christian Science Monitor, the St. Louis Post Dispatch, the Kansas City Star, Rural Missouri, Library Journal, and the Columbia Daily Tribune.  In 2007, she won the grand prize for the “Your Family Garden” contest sponsored by Harlequin Press and the American Horticulture Society.  Most recently, she published story “My Valentine” in Here Comes the Bride (Chicken Soup for the Soul LLC).
